(1) In Japan and many other Asian countries, there’s a day called White Day that occurs one month after Valentine’s Day. Since guys receive chocolates on Valentine’s, on White Day they are expected to give gifts in return. There’s a saying that they should give back two or three times as much as they received, which is what Adonis’s sister was talking about.
